"Small changes" is the commit message equivalent of leaving the room mid-sentence. It claims motion without naming a single thing that moved. Eight months later, the diff is still a rumor and the repo is still waiting for the follow-up that never got a title.

This is not a dramatic crash. It is worse. It is a polite exit. The kind of last line that sounds responsible in the moment and looks like evidence in the autopsy. Small changes. Then dust. Then stars still sitting there like they ordered the sequel.
