The Roast

Read back by the roast engine, which has seen 40,000 PRs and believed in software once

I have read forty thousand pull requests. I have never watched a README crown itself "the last" and then hand me a door that only opens inside the author's skull. That is not marketing. That is a eulogy for a product that never left the desk.

The demo is http://127.0.0.1:5173. Localhost. Vite's default comfort blanket. Not a staging URL. Not a tunnel. Not even a polite 404 from the public internet. Connection refused is the feature. You did not ship a demo. You shipped a floor plan of your laptop and called it distribution.

"The last" is peak README cope. The last chance at a working deploy. The last honest commit message. The last moment before someone noticed the only audience is 127.0.0.1. Zero stars. Zero receipts. A vibe check of eighteen because the app's exclusivity model is "already sitting in your chair."

I am not angry. I am tired. Public demos belong on the public web. Final claims need final artifacts. Until then, Dreamsmith is a private conversation between you and your loopback interface. The interface is winning.
